Collection of furniture of brothers Rzhev in Russian museum.
Since February, 2nd, 2001 the State Russian museum in St.-Petersburg represents in halls of the Marble palace assembly of brothers Rzhev.
The fine collection including products of painting, schedules, sculptures and arts and crafts, gathered during half a century. It includes 503 works. The separate place in assembly Rzhev is borrowed with furniture, the floor and chimney hours created by the West-European and Russian masters XVIII - XIX centuries. Many of these subjects have no analogues in domestic museum assemblies. For example, the furniture created in workshops of David Rentgena, Henry Gambsa, Thomas Sheraton and other outstanding cabinetmakers. All products are perfectly restored, mechanisms of hours are in working order.
